Review of Milestones In Saskatoon

his past weekend we went to Saskatoon for a concert. For dinner we wanted to try a restaurant that Regina does not have. There was plenty to choose from and we decided on Milestones.
We didn't want to go at supper hour rush so we waited until around 7:00 pm thinking it may have been more subdued. We were wrong, it was packed and a line up nearly out the door. We needed to be finished our meal by 9:00 pm so with great apprehension we traipsed to the door to ask how long the wait would be. We were seated immediately in the lounge.
Our drink orders were taken promptly, menu's were in our hand and the agonizing choice began, appetizers or no appetizers? We decided no appetizers as we never finish our meals anyways. More agonizing on what to actually order. We ordered old fashioned burgers that included smoked bacon, aged cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and a burger sauce with a side of yam fries. The burgers were damn good, some of the best I have ever had. The yam fries were meh, not the best but definitely not the worst I have had.
It is very rare I finish any of my meals unless it is the WokBox and this time I devoured my burger and even ordered the Decadent Duo dessert. Belgian chocolate Ganache Torte paired with White Chocolate Cheesecake. While I only had three bites of the dessert it was heavenly.
We were in and out in under 45 minutes on a very busy night and the service was outstanding from the hostesses, waitresses and the chefs.
However, there were two downsides to Milestones. Their website has a menu and drink specials but absolutely no prices. Second their washrooms were out of toilet paper in at least two of the stalls. With that being said I really wish Regina had a Milestones it would be one of my favourite places to eat.
