These shows piss me off. They try to pawn the issue off as something else, smear agendas and ignore the real problem. This is not a firearm control issue, this asshole would have stabbed her, strangled her or anything else at that point. Mean while they try to make it sound like if guns were harder to find she'd have been OK. Nevermind the lack of action from the Police, or the ongoing logic where abused women and children are ripped from their homes and put in shelters [read] jails while the guilty abusers run free, get the homes and property and suffer no hindrance. Even when restraining orders are breached the courts make excuses and allowances for the offenders. In no other criminal offense is the victim jailed and the criminal allowed to go free other than in domestic violence. This is not the fault of firearms, this is the fault of out legal system and their lies and pandering to cover up the fact they are worthless by design. If they had any effect on crime they'd work themselves out of a job thus it makes them more money to allow offenders to run free, more fines, tickets, more hours worked in the court houses. They profit and self justify their own existence from the fear and death of this woman and everyone like her past present and future.
